Absolutely, I think so!

I also wonder how we would &#039;assess&#039;, inquire and discover, invite children into opportunities where they are able to share what their inner life and process is.... and thus illustrate for the caregivers in their life that they have some of these abilities. To know how a child experiences the world and then to be able to support them in really optimizing on those traveled pathways can help so much in building a strong sense of self. And my how it would continue to teach us in the infinite array of what&#039;s possible on this human journey.

Loved the stories of exceptional brains and exceptional people. I&#039;d love to hear more stories like these, especially of children. It is encouraging and reminds me of the amazing and seemingly boundless possibilities that my own children might be capable of. It also encourages me to use a bit more of my own energy and brain (mind/body/spirit).

		<description>Hey, if only we could throw a handful of fertilizer on the kids, followed by a brisk shower from the garden hose ... might we grow phenomenal kids like we can grow flowers?

To take this metaphor further, if a flower becomes what it was &quot;destined&quot; to become, beginning as a seed (or bulb, or tuber, or...), it can achieve its own perfection under ideal conditions of light, water, food, attention. Does each child come into the world in a unique package that can likewise flower into its fullness under ideal nurturing conditions, wilting and fading under sub-optimal ones? Your brain is the very best it can be given your original DNA &quot;seed&quot; and environmental conditions ... not to be compared against Stephen Hawking or Sri Chinmoy. 

We are all benefitting from your slightly bent but still brilliant brain, Dr.B. 

Now, get out there and chop some wood!!
